Position Overview:

A leading tertiary care academic center in Central NJ is seeking a board certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide night-shift coverage for both stroke and general neurology services. This is a high-acuity inpatient role where your expertise will directly support one of the region's most advanced neuroscience programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to Stroke codes and conduct NIH Stoke Scale Assessments
• Provide thorough neurological assessments
• Collaborate closely with an onsite neurology resident and consult with attending neurologists by phone.
• Manage a caseload of approximately 10-15 patients per night, including consults
• Utilize the Epic EMR for all documentation

Ideal Candidate:

• Board-Certified NP or PA with inpatient neurology or critical care experience
• Comfortable operating independently during overnight hours
• Proficient in stroke evaluation and general neurology assessments
• Licensed (or eligible) to practice in New Jersey.
