Bill Rate: $40 - $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients' physical therapy needs in a skilled nursing facility
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients achieve their goals
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and functional independence
• Utilize state-of-the-art equipment including aquatic therapy, simulated kitchen, and stair training
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and home exercise programs
• Document patient progress accurately and maintain compliance with regulations

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings is a plus, but new graduates are welcome
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work Monday through Friday with occasional weekend coverage
• Dedication to providing high-quality, compassionate care

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of physical therapy techniques and modalities
• Skills in patient assessment and treatment planning
• Ability to operate therapy equipment and utilize therapeutic exercises
• Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
