Department: Settlement Department

This is a high-responsibility, client-facing role for someone sharp, detail-oriented, and proactive. As our Settlement Officer, you’ll be the final checkpoint before closing, ensuring every funding is smooth, compliant, and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare settlement statements and ensure all financials are balanced
• Communicate with buyers, sellers, attorneys, lenders, and agents to finalize details
• Verify clients’ wiring instructions
• Set up wires in the bank for disbursement per verified wiring instructions
• Maintain accurate disbursement information in every file being disbursed
• Ensure that all disbursements made at closing match the prepared settlement statements

 

Requirements:

• Prior experience in title, escrow, or real estate closings preferred
• Strong understanding of closing procedures and documentation
• Excellent communication and client service skills
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple files simultaneously
• Comfortable with deadlines, compliance, and high-stakes transactions
