Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing inbound and outbound freight, ensuring proper product distribution, and maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment according to procedural standards.

Responsibilities

• Receive and put-away all inbound freight according to procedural standards.
• Pick and ship customer orders as well as 3PL items according to procedural standards.
• Manage product distribution to and from manufacturing.
• Ensure FIFO/FEFO rotation.
• Maintain a clean and well-organized warehouse stocking area in compliance with safety regulations.
• Receive and tag items in the warehouse with barcode labels, pallet tags, and allergen stickers.
• Ensure stocked items are organized, allergen-separated, and readily accessible.
• Inspect inventory items for defects or damage and report findings to the Inventory Control Department.
• Report any quality defects of ingredients to the Quality Control team.

• Knowledge of RF scanning systems.
• Experience operating reach and hi-lows.
• Understanding of FIFO system.
• Ability to work from pick lists and system-driven reports.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with standard mathematical acumen.
• Sound understanding of safety rules and regulations.
• Proficiency in using warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, hand trucks, and pallet jacks.

• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to build excellent working relationships.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Capability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment

The position requires working on the 3rd shift from 11pm to 7am in diverse conditions including dry, refrigerated, and freezer environments. Employees will regularly work near moving machinery and mechanical parts, and occasionally in high places. The work environment may include exposure to wet and humid conditions, temperature extremes, and noise levels that are usually moderate. Products manufactured in the facility may contain peanuts, milk, and tree nuts.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Brunswick, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $21.75 - $21.75/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in East Brunswick,NJ.
