Leasing Assistant - Bilingual (Spanish/English)
- Location - Irvington, NJ
- Schedule : Monday thru Friday; 8:30am-5pm
- Hourly rate - $20+/hr
- Position Type - Temp to Hire
PrideStaff is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Assistant to join a property management firm in Irvington, NJ. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual looking to start a career in property management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Resident Relations: Provide exceptional customer service to prospective and current residents by addressing inquiries in a professional, timely manner.
- Leasing Support: Assist the Leasing Manager with all aspects of the leasing process, including initial inquiries, application processing, background checks, and lease preparation.
- Property Tours: Conduct professional and engaging property tours for prospective residents, highlighting key features and community amenities.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident files (both physical and digital), schedule appointments, and assist with general office duties.
- Marketing Assistance: Help update online listings, prepare marketing materials, and ensure the leasing office and vacant units are presentable.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous customer service or administrative experience is a plus, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate!
- Skills: Strong organizational, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills. Bilingual Spanish/English is a significant plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) is beneficial.
- Attributes: Professional demeanor, high energy level, and a strong work ethic. Must be reliable and punctual.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Starting Wage: $20+ per hour, depending on experience.
- Schedule: Full-time hours, typically Monday-Friday, with potential for some weekend work as needed.
