Position: Orthodontic Assistant

Location: Millburn and North Edison, NJ (part timer can choose either one of 2 locations)

Job Description:

As an Orthodontic Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting our orthodontists with patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our practice. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Performing orthodontic procedures such as placing and removing braces, taking impressions, and adjusting appliances

• Taking intra-oral scanner for Invisalign and taking photos

• Assisting orthodontists during patient examinations and procedures

• Taking dental x-rays

• Providing patient education on proper oral hygiene and care instructions

• Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation

Requirements:

• Previous experience as an orthodontic assistant required

• Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification required

• Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and terminology

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
