Job Description - Associate Warehouse Field Distribution
Location: Lawrenceville GA (Onsite)
Job Type: Contractor - Temp to Engage
Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $16.50 - $16.78 per hour

Position Summary

The Warehouse Field Distribution Associate supports Ricohs Supply Chain Operations by performing a wide range of physical logistical and warehousing tasks in a fast-paced environment. This role involves shrink-wrapping staging prepping and moving large office equipmentincluding copy machineswhile following OSHA safety guidelines. The position requires strong physical stamina attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. High-quality workmanship and reliable performance are essential with potential for long-term engagement based on performance.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations

• Perform shrink wrapping corner boarding and bubble wrapping of copy machines and related equipment.

• Label machines and move units to staging lines for outbound shipments.

• Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed ensuring accurate and safe handling of equipment.

• Complete shipping receiving stocking order pulling and general material handling tasks.

• Handle multiple product types and adapt to diverse warehouse functions.

Material Handling & Equipment

• Move 80-100 machines per day through walking pushing and positioning activities.

• Lift and maneuver units or materials; assistance provided for heavy items.

• Operate powered and non-powered material handling equipment (training provided).

• Ensure proper handling of high-value equipment ranging from $1 to $150000.

Safety Compliance & Quality

• Adhere to all OSHA regulations and follow warehouse safety procedures.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse according to company standards.

• Work efficiently at a rapid pace to meet daily deadlines and productivity requirements.

• Complete all paperwork accurately legibly and in a timely manner.

• Support coordinated team efforts to meet department and organizational goals.

• Perform additional duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience or 1 year of warehouse experience with Ricoh.

• Strong reading and math skills; ability to write clearly and legibly.

• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and perform frequent walking standing bending squatting kneeling and reaching.

• Ability to push and maneuver large equipment weighing up to 700 lbs (on wheels).

• Ability to follow directions manage time effectively and complete work within deadlines.

• Must be a reliable team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to interpret and apply instructions materials and data in a warehouse setting.

• Comfortable working in an environment with exposure to chemical cleaners temperature variations noise and minor physical hazards.
