We are looking for an experienced VP/Director of Finance and Accounting to lead and enhance our financial operations. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker who can oversee financial planning, compliance, and operational efficiency while providing valuable insights to executive leadership. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing multi-entity operations and implementing scalable systems to support business growth.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and organizational growth planning.
• Implement and maintain scalable accounting and reporting systems to ensure compliance, tax readiness, audit preparation, and treasury management.
• Provide actionable financial insights and recommendations to the executive team to support informed decision-making.
• Oversee FP& A and operational finance functions, focusing on optimizing working capital, margins, and overall financial performance.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, and investment initiatives through diligence, financial modeling, and integration processes.
• Manage transactional finance activities such as general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll while mentoring and building a skilled accounting team.
• Represent the company in external negotiations with financial institutions, auditors, and strategic partners.
• Partner with HR to design and manage effective compensation and benefits structures aligned with organizational goals.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.• At least 10 years of experience in FP& A, accounting, and treasury, with exposure to large enterprises and mid-market operations.
• Demonstrated success in managing multi-entity financial operations, particularly in industries such as manufacturing, distribution, hardware/software, or recurring revenue.
• Hands-on expertise with NetSuite, including implementation and integration.
• Experience with mergers, acquisitions, private equity, and post-deal integration processes.
• Proven ability to collaborate with HR on compensation and benefits planning.
• Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a history of building and managing high-performing teams.
