Job Summary: CNC Swiss Machinist

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Swiss Machinist to join our precision manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining Swiss-style CNC machines to produce high-precision components for industries such as medical devices, aerospace, and electronics.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate multi-axis CNC Swiss lathes (e.g., Citizen, Tsugami, Star)
• Read and interpret complex blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions
• Select, install, and adjust tooling and fixtures for optimal machining performance
• Perform machine offsets, tool changes, and troubleshooting
• Conduct in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve issues and improve processes
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience operating and setting up CNC Swiss machines
• Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, and fixture design
• Familiarity with GD&T and tight tolerance machining
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Physical stamina and comfort with technical problem-solving

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Paramus, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
