Medical Receptionist $22.00 Per Hour!
Essential Generic Job Functions (List in order of importance): The receptionist is responsible for receiving and directing all communication in a courteous manner and following HIPAA guidelines and office policies.
Answer phone calls promptly and greet patients and visitors in a friendly and helpful manner.
Assist patients with the sign-in process and respond to their needs promptly.
Ensures financial responsibilities are met, such as verifying information on the Audit Journal, preparing bank deposits, and monitoring office supply inventory.
Manage the patient check-in and check-out processes, including collecting co-payments, verifying insurance eligibility, and scheduling future appointments.
Promotes patient satisfaction by providing excellent service and communicates potential satisfaction issues to their manager.
Maintain efficient filing and record systems, adapt their schedule to meet practice needs, and serve as a pre-loader for the EMR system.
Other duties may be assigned, and the receptionist adheres to organizational competencies and standards of behavior. Job description: Provides reception and clerical services under the supervision of the practice manager and physician(s) for the patients and visitors of the practice. These services may include billing, collections, referrals, appointments, patient contact, and general secretarial duties. Must be willing to travel within 30 minutes of your home, and float to various locations.

Prior receptionist or clerical experience in a medical office (required).
CPR certification (preferred).
Epic experience (preferred). Schedule: 8-hour shift
