KM CONSTRUCTION CORP is seeking a dedicated Construction Superintendent to join our dynamic team in Irvington, NJ. In this role, you will oversee construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality and safety standards are met while fostering a collaborative work environment. Responsibilities:
- Manage daily on-site operations and supervise construction crews.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure project success.
- Monitor project schedules and budgets, adjusting as necessary.
- Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress and quality.
- Resolve any on-site issues and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
- Foster a positive team environment and promote best practices in construction.
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- OSHA certification and relevant construction licenses preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
