Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract role offers an opportunity to provide occupational therapy services in a vibrant school environment serving students from PreK through 8th grade. The position is onsite and designed to support a leave of absence, with approximately 15 hours of work per week in Paterson, NJ. Its an ideal setting for an OT professional passionate about making a difference in students educational experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to individual student needs within PreK-8th grade.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student development.
• Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans to enhance students functional abilities.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Document sessions and maintain compliance with school and regulatory standards.

Desired Qualifications:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings.
• Strong knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy, especially within the school system.
• Ability to work effectively with children across a broad age range (PreK-8th grade).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to commit to a 15-hour per week schedule onsite in Paterson, NJ.
