Job Overview:

Lead Radiologic Technologist will assist the supervisor in the day to day operation of the department Using medical imaging equipment to produce images, preparing equipment as needed for use, positioning patients for imaging, and ensuring patient safety during exams.

Qualifications:

Required:

• ARRT Certification in Radiation Technology is required.
• NJ radiology license required

• Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) required

• 3-5 years hospital experience as a lead/chief technologist preferre

Scheduling Requirements (non-exempt positions):

• Full-Time
• Day

Essential Functions:

• Proficient in Operating room radiographic imaging
• Essential Functions:
• Fulfills all the requirements of a Staff Technologist
• Liaison between radiologists, clinical staff and management
• Keeps up to date with established departmental policies and procedures including informing the staff in your modality,
• Participates in quality assurance activities completing all required documentation for the continuous improvement of patient care
• Assists with the maintenance of supplies and equipment,
• Responsible for all quality control testing
• Performs additional duties as required
