Spot Welder

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Experience in a Manufacturing Industry is mandatory

• Able to read travelers and follow verbal instruction to pull correct components for job.
• Must be able to transfer information from the traveler to the time card. Verify accuracy.
• Being able to control electronic computer and peripheral electronic data processing
equipment such as mouse and keyboard to process data and information and report
any error to the lead or supervisor.

• Select and set up air operated hand tools and fixtures on work bench.
• Familiarize yourself with the Boundary Boards and 4 Category Quality System.
• Must be able to identify the 4 Category Defects while working in the cell.
• Check in-coming and out-going materials for quality and quantity. Prepare necessary

documentation as required and report to the department lead.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• High school diploma or general education degree; and 6-12 months in sheet metal

manufacturing, including welding and assembly experience in a manufacturing setting

• Self - Balancing flow manufacturing knowledge or experience is preferred
• Ability to read precision measuring instruments and simple shop sketches.
• Experience in quality control and identify defect and correction
• Ability to use measuring equipment (caliper, micrometer, etc.)
• Good knowledge of shop and safety practices in essential

• Must regularly slide and/or move up to 20 pounds, frequently slide and/or move up to
