Key requirements: .NET Developer with Python Expertise and Banking Experience( preferred is ex Bank of America)

Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience

Candidates should have stable project history (no short-term projects; at least 2 years per project preferred)

Must be local to the location, as the interview process will include face-to-face rounds
LinkedIn must be verified from work email and must not be created recently ( look for profiles created before 2020).

Banking experience is a must have.

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior .NET Backend Developer with strong experience in enterprise backend systems, distributed applications, and legacy modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on expertise in C#/.NET backend development while also being comfortable working in a hybrid engineering environment that includes Python-based services and applications.

This role is heavily focused on backend/business logic engineering, system integration, scalability, and modernization efforts. It is not primarily a frontend/UI role.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and enhance enterprise-grade backend applications using C# and .NET Core/.NET Framework
Modernize legacy applications and refactor business logic into scalable service-oriented architectures
Build and maintain RESTful APIs, backend services, and distributed systems
Collaborate with teams working on Python-based applications and services
Work with microservices, messaging systems, and event-driven architectures
Improve performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability of existing platforms
Participate in production support, debugging, root cause analysis, and system optimization
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native deployment strategies
Work closely with cross-functional teams including architects, DevOps, and Python developers

Required Skills

10+ years of hands-on software development experience
Strong expertise in:

C#
.NET Core / ASP.NET Core
REST APIs
Backend/business logic development
SQL Server or Oracle

Strong understanding of:

Distributed systems
Multithreading/concurrency
Microservices architecture
Messaging technologies (Kafka, JMS, Service Bus, etc.)

Experience modernizing legacy enterprise applications
Experience with Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift or similar container platforms
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Comfortable working in hybrid technology environments involving Python ecosystems/services
Strong troubleshooting and production support experience

Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to Python, FastAPI, Flask, or Python-based backend services

Experience in financial services/trading systems or high-throughput enterprise environments

Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS

Familiarity with React or Angular is a plus, but role is backend focused

Important Notes

This is not a frontend/UI-focused role

Candidates should be hands-on engineers comfortable improving and modernizing existing enterprise systems

Preference for candidates with strong backend architecture and distributed systems experience

Candidates do not need to be expert Python developers, but should be comfortable collaborating within Python-heavy environments.
