- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play.
- Supervise children in the classroom and during outdoor activities to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Engage children in interactive activities that encourage creativity, critical thinking, and social skills.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, employing positive reinforcement techniques.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience for all children.
- Observe and assess children's developmental milestones to tailor activities to their individual needs.
- Experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices is essential.
- Skills in behavior management and classroom management are highly valued.
- Previous experience in babysitting, nannying, or toddler care is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to various learning styles.
- A nurturing attitude with the ability to build trusting relationships with children.
