Account Manager, Industrial Maintenance Parts
$36.05/hr ($75K) | Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM | On-site, Fairfield, NJ

Our client is a long-established industrial distributor with a strong regional presence, stocking everything from bearings and power transmission components to hydraulic/pneumatic fluid power products and bulk material handling parts. They've got a loyal base of maintenance department customers who depend on fast, accurate service to keep their operations running.

You'll be the main point of contact for an existing book of accounts, taking inbound calls and emails, processing orders for bearings, drives, motors, and related power transmission parts, following up on quotes and deliveries, and working closely with the warehouse to make sure every order lands right and on time. This is relationship-driven work, not cold sales. Customers already know and trust the company, you're the person who keeps that trust going.

Required:

• Hands-on experience with industrial bearings (ball, roller, needle, or friction-type) and power transmission products (roller chain, sprockets, belts, sheaves, couplings, gearing, or electric motors)
• Comfortable identifying parts, cross-referencing part numbers, and pulling specs for customers
• Background in an industrial distribution, counter sales, or inside sales environment where you handled these part categories daily
• Excellent customer service skills, comfortable on the phone and over email
• Reliable, organized, and easy to work with
• Looking for a long-term career, not a short-term stop

Bonus:

• Familiarity with fluid power/hydraulic components (hose, fittings, couplings) or bulk material handling parts (conveyor belts, idlers, pulleys)
• Experience with a specific bearing or power transmission distributor/manufacturer
• Bilingual English/Spanish
