Office Manager
We are a growing construction company looking for a reliable, thick-skinned, and detail-oriented Office Administrator to run our daily operations. We need someone who can handle the books, manage the schedule, and keep our field crews on track.
What You’ll Be Doing:- The Voice of the Company: You are the first point of contact. You will handle all incoming phone calls, emails, and text messages, providing excellent customer service to current and prospective clients.
- Financials (QuickBooks): You will manage our QuickBooks files. This includes sending invoices, tracking expenses, paying vendors, and ensuring job costing is accurate.
- Employee Management: You will be responsible for collecting weekly time cards, verifying hours, and handling general employee issues as they arise.
- Scheduling & Operations: Assist with the master schedule, keeping crews informed of where they need to be, and helping with project coordination.
What We Need From You:
- QuickBooks Experience is a MUST: You must be comfortable navigating QuickBooks for invoicing and basic bookkeeping.
- Construction Knowledge: Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or the trades is highly recommended. You need to understand the flow of a project and how to talk to field crews.
- Tech-Savvy: We use texts and emails constantly. You need to be quick on the computer.
- Problem Solver: Things change fast in construction. We need someone who can stay calm and find solutions when the schedule shifts.
