The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

The Linen Technician is responsible for delivering all clean linen exchange carts to Nursing Units. They pick up soiled linens on a scheduled basis and are responsible for the clean linen room and soiled linen room maintenance. They input items into the computer, answer pages and phone calls in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer skills
• Customer service experience

Preferred:

• Previous warehouse experience preferred

Scheduling Requirements:

• 5:30am-4:00pm
• Alternating: Wednesday and Thursday one week, Friday and Saturday the next
• Part time

Essential Functions:

• Delivering all clean linen exchange for the soiled linen carts to Nursing Units
• The maintenance of the Clean Linen Room and soiled Linen Room
• Maintaining linen and scrubs inventory in the OR, and other ancillary areas
• Stocking shelves, PYXIS machines and assisting Coordinator
• Preparing shipments and bills for truck and rail carriers
• Preparing records of receipt of incoming material and equipment
• The accuracy of shipping documents and verifying receiving receipts with orders
• The delivery of product to the various departments within the facility and off-site locations
