General Summary

Part time position for the Lambertville, MI office. Primary working days will be Monday and Thursday. Assist provider(s) with patient treatment, prepares patient for provider(s), and performs various clerical duties. Principal Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist provider(s) with patient care (i.e.: assisting with minor procedures/surgeries such as removing sutures, staples, moles, etc.).
• Escorting patients to exam room.
• Preparing exam rooms.
• Sterilizing and preparing instruments.

• Preparing patient for providers (i.e.: histories, blood pressure, vitals, etc.).
• Sterilizing and preparing instruments.

Other Essential Duties May Include ( but are not limited to):

• Administering injections.
• At the request of the provider, calling in prescription refills.
• Order and maintain exam room supplies and instruments.
• Follow up with lab work and/or xrays.
• Various clerical duties (i.e.: answering phones, scheduling appointments, handling patient charts, etc.).
• Traveling between practice offices to cover staffing needs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

• Excellent interpersonal skills required.
• Consistently arrives at work, in professional attire, on time and completes all tasks within established time frame.
• Seeks appropriate tasks when primary tasks are completed and assists co-workers as needed.
• Demonstrates adaptability to expanded roles.
• Adheres to all Toledo Clinic policies and procedures.

Education

• Licensed Nursing Degree with Ohio and Michigan State Licensure
