Electronics Testing Technician
About the client:
They provide high-quality products and exceptional service as a leading wholesaler, refurbisher, 3PL provider, and distributor. The company refurbishes and distributes electronics, such as laptops and home audio gear, and offers warehousing, packaging, shipping, and related logistics services.
About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Refurbishment Technician to perform rapid functional testing on refurbished electronics in a high-throughput production environment. This role focuses on verifying basic device functionality, documenting results, and routing units appropriately. No advanced diagnostics required.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM (OT as needed)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform basic functional testing (power, charging, ports, display, audio, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth)
- Run simple software checks when provided
- Record pass/fail results accurately
- Sort devices (Pass / Repair / Parts Only / Scrap)
- Maintain production pace and quality standards
- Follow safety and ESD procedures
Qualifications:
- Experience handling or testing electronics in warehouse or production settings
- Ability to follow written steps consistently and work efficiently
- Basic computer/data entry skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
