Job Overview:
In this contingent resource assignment, you will consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering. You will review and analyze multi-faceted, larger-scale, or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Additionally, you will contribute to the resolution of complex situations requiring a solid understanding of functional policies, procedures, and compliance requirements to meet deliverables. Strategic collaboration and consultation with client personnel will also be a key aspect of this role.

Responsibilities:

• Consult on complex software engineering initiatives with broad impact.
• Analyze and resolve multi-faceted software engineering challenges.
• Collaborate strategically with client personnel to meet deliverables.
• Develop and implement solutions for the Global Control Room within Compliance.
• Work on cutting-edge technologies, including Kafka and cloud environments.
• Contribute to the development of AI use cases and cloud-based solutions.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent through work, consulting, training, military experience, or education.
• 10-12+ years of overall Java development experience.
• Proficiency in Java 11/17.
• 5+ years of experience with Restful Webservices.
• 3-5+ years of experience with Microservices and Spring Cloud.
• 3+ years of experience with Kafka integration.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies, including PCF, Azure, Amazon, and Google Cloud.
• Agile experience is required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Solution Architecture experience is a plus.
• Financial industry experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay Range: $75 - $85

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
