Associate Wheel and Brake Technician

Boeing Distribution Inc (BDI) has an opening for Associate Wheel and Brake Technician whowill execute the wheel and brake production plan and will be responsibilities to follow all safety and quality policies and insure productivity goals are met. This will require that they be available and willing to work in all areas of the shop including but not limited to receiving disassemble cleaning painting assemble and shipping as is located in Parsippany NJ.

Position Responsibilities:

• Performs simple production assembly operations pressure testing inspection tagging and shipping of various aircraft hose assemblies using various crimpers hydraulic equipment and hand tools.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 1 year of part 145 or military or auto or hydraulic mechanic experience

• Must have strong communication skills

• Able to read and comprehend technical manuals.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite.

Export Control Requirements:

This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements a U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.62 is required. U.S. Person includes U.S. Citizen U.S. National lawful permanent resident refugee or asylee.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 3 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• A&P Certification

• Bachelors degree or equivalent

Required Experience:

IC
