As an Engine Lab Technician, you will…
The position of Engine Lab Technician is located at ECMS’ engine laboratory in Union, New Jersey. The Union Engine Lab (UEL) performs prototype catalyst sample testing on gasoline and diesel engines and provides test data to research teams developing next generation automotive catalysts. As a Lab Technician, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining engines, installing prototype catalyst systems, and running laboratory testing equipment. In addition, you will be performing routine inspections, cleaning, and maintaining prototype catalyst sample inventory.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED, required.
Engine maintenance experience with oil changes, mechanical upgrades, etc., required.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and PC, required
Engine troubleshooting for both diesel and gasoline engines, preferred
Automotive wiring experience, preferred

The competitive Pay Rate for this role is $35.00 - $40.00/hr. Actual pay will be determined based on education, certifications, experience, and other job-related factor permitted by law.
