A behavioral health nonprofit in the Ewing, NJ area is seeking a full-time Medical A/R Representative to join their growing team. This organization focuses on providing essential mental health services and is looking for someone passionate about contributing to the healthcare industry.

Job Description :

The Medical A/R Representative will be responsible for follow-up with insurance companies regarding outstanding accounts receivable (A/R). This includes reviewing denied claims, making edits as needed, and resubmitting claims to insurance providers to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement.

Key Responsibilities :

• Follow up with insurance companies regarding outstanding accounts receivable.
• Review denied claims, make necessary edits, and resubmit claims.
• Work collaboratively with the billing department and insurance companies to resolve any issues.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of claims and correspondence.

Qualifications :

• Required : Medical Accounts Receivable experience.
• Knowledge of insurance eligibility, claims submission processes.
• A desire to grow within the healthcare revenue cycle.

Additional Details :

• This is a full-time, on-site position in Ewing, NJ (not remote).
• Regular office hours: Monday-Friday, either 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm.
