Get to Know Your Team:

• Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center is an 820,000-square-foot facility that offers the latest medical programs, cutting-edge technology, and patient-focused care that includes 365 beds, 1,200+ employees, and a 27-bed Emergency Room/Fast Track Unit.

• Provide basic nursing care to the patient.
• Assist nursing personnel and physicians in emergency care.
• Accept responsibility for providing safe, appropriate, quality patient care.
• Perform out of bed/back to bed as appropriate.
• Observe patient while performing delegated tasks and report significant findings regarding patient safety, personal needs, and changes in the patient's condition to the licensed nurse.
• Respond to call light promptly and courteously.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient records.
• Assist patient in wheelchair, on stretcher, and ambulating.
• Monitor vital signs, specimen collection, intake and output, meal consumption, height and weight, blood glucose testing/monitoring, point of care testing.
• Perform any and all other duties assigned.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of Nursing Assistant experience.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• CNA certification.

Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education, and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
