Powertek Athletic is looking for a creative and detail-oriented graphic deisgner to join our apparel team in Edison, New Jersey. We design and produce custom jerseys, athletic wear, team uniforms, and performance apparel for athletes, teams, schools, and organizations.

The ideal candidate has a strong eye for sports design, understands apparel graphics, and can turn concepts into production-ready artwork. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where creativity, accuracy, and innovation are paramount.

Responsibilities include:

• Create original designs for jerseys, uniforms, athletic wear, and related sports apparel
• Develop CAD artwork, mockups, and production-ready files
• Build 2D and 3D visual presentations for customers and internal review
• Work with logos, team colors, patterns, typography, and custom graphics
• Design marketing materials such as flyers, digital ads, social media graphics, catalogs, sell sheets, and promotional layouts
• Support brand and product marketing by creating clean, professional visuals for both print and digital use
• Prepare artwork for sublimation, screen printing, heat transfer, embroidery, and other specialty media
• Collaborate with sales, production, and customer service teams to bring designs from concept to final product
• Revise artwork based on customer feedback and production requirements
  Stay current with trends in sportswear, uniform design, digital imaging, and AI-assisted design tools
• Social media and photography skills are a plus
  

Skills we are looking for:

• Strong experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• CAD art experience for apparel or product design
• 3D imaging, 3D mockups, or apparel visualization experience
• Knowledge of specialty media, including sublimation, print, heat transfer, and decoration techniques
• Understanding of jersey layouts, athletic apparel construction, and production artwork
• Creativity with typography, color, pattern design, and sports branding
• Interest or experience using AI tools for design concepts, workflow, or visualization
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn our production process
• knowledge and skills in social media
  

Preferred experience:

Previous work in sportswear, team uniforms, fashion, apparel graphics, or promotional products
Experience creating customer-facing mockups and production files
Knowledge of custom team apparel, schools, clubs, leagues, or athletic organizations
