Job Title: Batch Maker

Pay: $23-$24

Shift: Rotating 1st & 3rd

Location: Belvidere, NJ

Job Description

Operate manufacturing equipment to mix and blend chemicals according to provided formulas. Assist with the production of batches using the Batch Master Record System. Help record production data, including raw materials used, quantities, and timing. Check raw materials before production to ensure they match the batch sheet requirements. Follow production procedures carefully for accurate measurements and mixing. Clean and sanitize equipment following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Maintain cleanliness and organization in the manufacturing area according to SOPs. Follow safety precautions and wear personal protective equipment (PPE).

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment such as mixers and blenders.
• Assist with the production of batches using a multi-phase batch making process.
• Record production data accurately, including raw materials, quantities, and timing.
• Ensure raw materials match batch sheet requirements before production.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and maintain organization in the manufacturing area.
• Follow safety precautions and wear PPE as required.

Essential Skills

• Knowledge of proper use of weight scales.
• Ability to operate manufacturing equipment, including mixers, blenders, and forklifts.
• Familiarity with the Batch Coding System of Manufacturing.
• Experience using radio frequency devices (RF scanners).
• Strong scientific math aptitude and analytical skills.
• Ability to read and understand Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
• Forklift certification required.

This is a Permanent position based out of Hackettstown, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $68640.00/yr.
