ITAD Technician / Data Entry Clerk

Location: Lincoln Park, NJ
Pay Rate: $21.00/hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday 6 am-2:30 pm

Responsibilities

• Test, inspect, and evaluate incoming technology equipment.
• Process IT assets according to company procedures and customer requirements.
• Perform accurate data entry of asset information, serial numbers, inventory records, and testing results.
• Update inventory management systems and maintain detailed asset records.
• Verify equipment specifications and functionality against required criteria.
• Label, track, and document assets throughout the processing cycle.
• Assist with inventory audits and reconciliation of discrepancies.
• Ensure data accuracy and maintain proper chain-of-custody documentation.
• Prepare equipment for shipment, storage, refurbishment, or recycling.
• Follow quality control procedures to ensure all assets meet company standards.
• Work closely with Operations and Logistics teams to maintain workflow efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in ITAD, electronics processing, warehouse operations, or inventory control preferred.
• Strong computer skills and data entry experience required.
• Ability to accurately enter and maintain large volumes of data.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, laptops, desktops, servers, or other electronic devices.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow written procedures and work independently.
• Experience with inventory systems, WMS, or asset management software is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
