Excelcare at Norwood is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Staffing Coordinator to join our skilled nursing team. In this role, you will manage daily staffing schedules, coordinate coverage for open shifts, and support staffing operations to ensure residents receive consistent, high-quality care. The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Staffing Coordinator Responsibilities:
Develop, manage, and maintain the master schedule for all nursing staff.
Report labor hours daily, ensuring accurate tracking and compliance.
Coordinate coverage for open shifts and address scheduling conflicts promptly.
Collaborate with department heads to ensure proper staffing levels.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee schedules and attendance.
Communicate schedule updates and changes to staff effectively.
Qualifications for a Staffing Coordinator:
At least 2 years of experience as a Staffing Coordinator in a nursing home or similar healthcare setting.
Strong understanding of master scheduling and daily labor hour reporting.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proficiency in scheduling software and tools.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
