Workday ERP Training Lead
Kforce has a client in Newark, NJ that is seeking a Workday ERP Training Lead for a hybrid role. Summary: The Workday ERP Training Lead will be responsible for designing and executing a comprehensive training strategy to support the implementation of Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) and Financials. This role plays a key part in ensuring successful user adoption by delivering clear, engaging, and effective training aligned with business goals, change management efforts, and project timelines. The Training Lead will partner closely with the ERP implementation team, implementation partners, project managers, change management resources, and business stakeholders to assess training needs and define learning objectives. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining high-quality training materials such as instructor-led guides, presentations, e-learning modules, interactive tutorials, job aids, FAQs, and system demonstrations. The role also involves creating detailed training plans, coordinating training logistics, facilitating sessions, and providing ongoing user support before and after go-live. Additional responsibilities include ensuring subject matter expert participation, tracking training progress and effectiveness, identifying risks and issues, and communicating status, challenges, and outcomes to project leadership. The Training Lead will gather feedback to continuously improve training delivery and assist in defining a sustainable approach for ongoing Workday training and development following implementation.
- Minimum of 6 years of Workday implementation experience, including at least 3 years in a Training Lead role
- Proven experience leading training for at least one full lifecycle Workday implementation
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and training delivery methodologies
- Hands-on experience developing diverse training assets and strong facilitation, communication, and project management skills
- Ability to translate complex system functionality into clear, user-friendly learning content for diverse audiences
- Experience in higher education and familiarity with Banner or similar ERP systems is preferred
