**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
+ Document observations, incidents, and activities as required by site procedures, maintaining accurate and timely records.
+ Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
+ Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and helping to manage the flow of personnel and vehicles within the location.
+ Remain alert to surroundings and report any suspicious activity or potential hazards according to site protocols.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ At least one year of security-related experience is required.
+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.
+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
