Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Preschool Director to lead our early childhood education program. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for educating young children. This role involves overseeing the daily operations of the preschool, ensuring compliance with educational standards, and fostering a nurturing environment for both staff and students. The Preschool Director will play a crucial role in strategic planning and budgeting while managing a team of educators to deliver high-quality educational experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of the preschool, including curriculum development, staff supervision, and daily operations.
• Educate staff on best practices in early childhood education and provide ongoing professional development opportunities.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the quality of education and care provided at the preschool.
• Oversee budgeting processes, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to meet program needs.
• Foster positive relationships with parents, staff, and the community to promote the preschool's mission and values.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and licensing requirements related to early childhood education.
• Conduct regular assessments of program effectiveness and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes for children.

Requirements

• A BA in Education or related field from an accredited university is required.
• Proven leadership experience in an educational setting, particularly in early childhood education.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• A commitment to fostering a positive learning environment that supports children's growth and development.
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and community members to achieve educational goals.
• Ability to work 40-50 hours weekly including some nights and weekends.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $57,814.00 - $68,200.00 per year
