We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. This role is essential in providing high-quality care to our animal patients and supporting veterinarians in delivering exceptional medical services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in animal care, with skills in various areas including dog handling, veterinary terminology, and critical care.

Duties

• Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures.
  
• Perform routine laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging, including X-Rays.
  
• Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed.
  
• Monitor the health and behavior of animals before, during, and after procedures.
  
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient.
  
• Provide education to pet owners on animal care, nutrition, and training.
  
• Support the grooming and handling of animals to ensure their comfort and safety.
  
• Participate in emergency veterinary care as needed.
  

Qualifications

• Certification or degree in Veterinary Technology or related field is preferred, but not necessary
  
• Experience in animal care or handling, particularly with dogs and equines.
  
• Familiarity with veterinary terminology and procedures.
  
• Skills in pet grooming and dog training are advantageous.
  
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  
• Strong communication skills for interacting with pet owners and team members.
  
• A genuine passion for animal welfare and commitment to providing high-quality veterinary care.
