Position Overview
The Medical Director will oversee medical quality and patient care provided by all veterinarians in the hospital while serving as a key member of the management team. Responsibilities include guiding the hospital’s strategic direction, supporting clinical excellence, and contributing to financial and operational goals. Approximately 30% of time will be devoted to leadership duties, with the remaining 70% focused on clinical practice.

• Full-time or part-time options, with relief opportunities

• Hours:

  • Monday – Thursday: 8:00 am – 7:00 pm

  • Friday: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm

  • Saturday: 8:00 am – 12:00 pm

  • Sunday: Closed

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual salary: $160,000 – $180,000 (negotiable based on experience and credentials)

• Eligible for signing bonus, MD stipend, and MD bonus

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent from an accredited university

• Licensure in good standing to practice in New Jersey, or the ability to obtain
