Supervisor

Job Overview responsible for developing, supervising, and maintaining the housekeeping departments by ensuring all staff are following proper facility and state requirements,

Also is a vital part of the interdisciplinary team and Quality Assurance teams and ensures that all housekeeping items are addressed as directed,

Must have housekeeping experience in a supervisory role, or 2-year supervisory experience required,

Knowledge of Joint Commission JCAHO inspections & also infectious waste procedures Scheduling Requirements:

Rotating Weekends and Holidays required

Shift working: Day 6:30am -3:00pm

Required Skills/Abilities:

Must know how to use common housecleaning implements such as mops, floor waxes, and scouring pads to keep areas clean and well serviced,

Ability to follow oral or written instructions

Work with constant concern for the safety of all people, patients, visitors etc,

Interacts in a positive manner with coworkers in all departments to accomplish the goals and objectives of the hospital for effective patient care

Must be able to read, write and speak English

Perform other duties as may be assigned

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs,

Including bending, stooping and stretching,
