Superintendent
Position OverviewThe Superintendent will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects within public works, particularly focusing on schools and government buildings. This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations, budgets, and timelines. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise construction projects from inception to completion.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project specifications are met.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations and safety standards.
- Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders, including government officials and community members.
- Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Conduct site inspections and resolve issues as they arise during construction.
- Facilitate communication between project teams and government entities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (7+ years) as a Superintendent in public works and/or government building projects.
- Experience managing large construction projects ($10M+)
- Strong understanding of construction processes, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
