Registered Dietitian
Registered Dietitian (Federal Contract)

The United States Coast Guard is seeking a Registered Dietitian for a Federal Contract Opportunity. This role supports a structured training program focused on preparing recruits to meet physical fitness and body composition standards. Contributing directly to mission readiness through performance nutrition, education, and wellness support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop care plans
- Provide individual and group nutrition counseling
- Create meal plans and macronutrient guidelines
- Monitor progress using measurable health indicators
- Deliver nutrition education focused on performance and wellness
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting
Requirements:
- Active Registered Dietitian license (New Jersey)
- Degree in Dietetics or Nutrition (ACEND-accredited)
- BLS Certification required
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Experience in sports nutrition or weight management preferred
Schedule:
- 30–40 hours per week
- 8-hour shifts
- Monday–Saturday based on program needs
