Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg/Tele CWR

Location: Brick, NJ 08724

Duration: 13 Weeks (with potential extension)

Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | 3x12s | Every other weekend & holidays as required | No on-call

Hours: 36 per week

The Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg/Telemetry provides direct patient care and clinical support in a major acute care hospital setting. This role involves comprehensive patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care. The RN ensures patient safety, advocates for evidence-based care, and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered outcomes.

• Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care.

• Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized care plans through assessments and re-assessments.

• Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage care of patients.

• Document care based on standards of nursing practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.

• Administer medications, including non-titratable cardiac drips.

• Monitor telemetry and provide appropriate interventions as necessary.

• Support evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.

• Float as required within Med/Surg and Telemetry units.

• Other duties as assigned.

• Minimum 2+ years RN experience in a Med Surg/Telemetry unit in a major acute care hospital.

• Strong Med/Surg and Telemetry background.

• Proficiency in managing non-titratable cardiac drips and medications .

• Experience with 5–6:1 patient ratios .

• ASN required; BSN preferred .

• BLS (AHA) – required .

• ACLS – required .

• Telemetry certification – required .
