Senior Tax Accountant & Manager - CPA Firm
Kforce's client, a boutique CPA Firm located in the Union, NJ area, is adding a Senior Tax Accountant and Manger to their team. The roles are open to expansion. Responsibilities:
- Review and provide compliance with federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, businesses, trusts, and non-profits as well as high net-worth individuals; Will also serve some multi-state and international entities and customers
- Strategic tax planning
- Compliance with current tax laws and regulations; Client communication and representation to tax authorities
- Risk management
- Collaboration with other departments
- Bachelor's in Accounting; Masters a plus
- CPA or EA or pursuing preferred
- Minimum of 4+ years with 1040's, as well as small to mid-sized business S-Corp, C-Corp and Partnership and some Hight Net-Worth tax filing, planning, and strategic services
- Excellent communication skills: interpersonal, written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and handle multiple deliverables simultaneously
- IRS e-Filings
- CCH Walters Kluwer software a plus
