Job Overview:
The EMS Manager of Mobile Health will ensure the delivery of world-class patient care through providing leadership and quality driven services aligned with RWJBH’s strategic and operational plan. This position will lead and implement the centrally located EMS operations of the mobile health division. The EMS Manager will be responsible for managing and executing the strategic initiatives of the division.
The EMS Manager will report directly to the Regional Operations Director of Mobile Health Services and will foster a collaborative environment within the supervisory team in developing and accessing RWJBH’s long-term Mobile Health Strategy. The EMS Manager will provide outstanding and inspiring leadership by being actively involved in all aspects of Mobile Health Services, developing broad based relationships with RWJBH, the community and other key stakeholders. The EMS Manager will be expected to lead, coach, develop and retain a high-performing supervisors and front-line staff team members, all the while emphasizing strategic planning and analysis.
Qualifications:
Required:
Must possess and maintain current NJSDoH MICP or MICN certification
Must possess and maintain current AHA, ACLS and PALS certification
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Health Care Administration or related field of study

Essential Functions:
Responsible for assisting the Operations Director with oversight and management of centrally located ALS/BLS Services/Territories to ensure that RWJBarnabas Health is providing contiguous coverage, scalability and efficiencies in the area of Patient Transport and Mobile Health Services
Responsible for day-to-day management, staffing and overall operations for ALS and BLS divisions
The EMS Manager will maintain centrally located responsibility for ensuring a unified structure regarding EMS Field Operations, MICU Field Operations and SCTU Field Operations
The EMS Manager will also ensure all communication is streamlined within the department, ensuring the same message is delivered strategically to all staff members
