Job Overview
We are seeking a driven Business Development Manager to support national growth initiatives through mortgage recruiting and real estate partnership development. This role focuses on recruiting producing loan officers, branch managers, and mortgage teams while also building strategic relationships with real estate professionals and other lead sources.
This is a highly relationship-driven role with significant earning potential through uncapped commission tied to production and growth. The position is fully remote and allows you to source opportunities locally, regionally, or nationally.
Key Responsibilities
Mortgage Recruiting
Source and recruit loan officers, producing teams, and branch managers
Manage the full recruitment funnel from prospecting through onboarding
Conduct outreach through LinkedIn, networking, industry associations, and events
Present the company platform and value proposition to potential recruits
Support candidate transition and onboarding process
Business Development
Develop partnerships with real estate professionals, builders, and other lead sources
Identify opportunities for market expansion in target territories
Build and maintain strong relationships with key referral partners
Promote brand presence and business growth within strategic markets
Market Growth
Identify high-producing loan officers and teams within competitor organizations
Develop outreach strategies to attract retail LOs, branch managers, and producing teams
Support expansion into new markets and territories
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience in mortgage recruiting, mortgage sales, or B2B sales
Strong understanding of mortgage products, compensation structures, and industry dynamics
Proven ability to build relationships and develop new business opportunities
Excellent communication, networking, and presentation skills
Self-motivated and comfortable working in a remote, performance-driven environment
Compensation Structure
Base Salary: $50,000 – $60,000 (paid hourly)
Commission: Uncapped earning potential
