Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Control Agent in North Bergen, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support a professional atmosphere through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including buildings, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, with attention to unusual activity and/or unauthorized access.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries, helping to support site access protocols and reporting concerns to appropriate contacts.
• Observe logistics and distribution operations for security-related issues such as damaged gates, unsecured doors, and/or restricted area concerns, and report findings according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
