What Youll Do

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) providing guidance on State county and municipal projects.
• Conduct crash analyses and develop data-driven safety recommendations.
• Support and manage safety-focused programs and initiatives.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement and coordination.
• Develop safety targets Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and summary reports.
• Contribute to Strategic Highway Safety Plan (SHSP) activities and implementation.
• Review Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) assessments and performance plans.

What You Bring

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 35 years of traffic engineering design experience.
• Preferred certifications: PE (Professional Engineer) AICP (Certified Planner) RSP (Road Safety Professional).
• Strong knowledge of safety and design standards including:
  • NJ SHSP
  • Highway Safety Manual (HSM)
  • HSIP
  • Complete Streets
  • ADA Compliance
  • Safe System Approach
  • AASHTO MUTCD NACTO NJDOT Design Manual

Additional Information

TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment we have provided the base compensation range of$80000 - $115000 annually for this position and local market. We recognize that each candidate brings a unique set of skills experience education and competencies to the table that will be reflected in our offer.
