We are seeking a Head Teacher to join our organization! This individual will plan and present age-appropriate activities for children.

Responsibilities:

• Instruct activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
• Create a fun and safe learning environment
• Develop and deliver interactive lesson plans
• Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
• Implement Creative curriculum in the classroom
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
• Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress
• Establish and enforce behavior rules in the classroom
• Maintain the health and safety of all students
• Supervising staff
• Discussing children's progress and collaborating with families
• Ensuring daycare centers are well maintained
• Hiring and training new teachers and assistant staff
• Ensuring daycare center programs are in line with the educational standards set by the state
• Offer classroom resources and tools
• Adapt teaching materials and approaches to meet children's learning styles and interests
• Manage all classroom activities, including lessons, play, transitions, and meals
• Implement lesson plans through collaboration with other staff members
• Adhere to all sanitation guidelines and health procedures
• Facilitate children's activities, including storytelling, games, and songs
• Maintain classroom inventories for supplies and materials

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields
• Passionate about working with children
• Ability to build rapport with children
• Positive and patient demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• BA in early childhood studies (other majors with focus on children qualify) OR CDA
