Network Security Engineer
Position Type: Hybrid
Hybrid Schedule: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote
Contract Length: 12 months + extensions Position Overview:
We are looking for a Security Engineer to join our growing team. This role involves design and implementation of security solutions, as well as developing and managing DMZ designs, IPSec configurations, and Nexus vPC architecture. This role will be full time and Hybrid in Trenton, NJ Required Skills:
Extensive experience with Cisco Nexus hardware
Proficiency in protocols including BGP, VxLAN, SD-WAN, SDN, EVPN, IS-IS, MPLS, LDP, and Segment Routing
Hands-on experience with DMZ design, IPSec, Nexus vPC architecture, and MacSEC technology
Knowledge of QoS traffic shaping principles
Design and implement security solutions using protocols such as BGP, VxLAN, SD-WAN, SDN, EVPN, IS-IS, MPLS, LDP, and Segment Routing
Develop and manage DMZ designs, IPSec configurations, and Nexus vPC architecture
Apply MacSEC technology to enhance data security
Monitor and optimize QoS traffic shaping
Work with Cisco Nexus hardware to ensure network reliability
Collaborate on projects involving Wireless LAN Controllers, Arista Velo Cloud, Arista Cloud Vision, and RADIUS (as needed)
- Prefer familiarity with Wireless LAN Controllers, Arista Velo Cloud, Arista Cloud Vision, and RADIUS
