Shift Manager - In Room Dining (Available to work both SWING & GRAVE Shifts)
About the Role
The Shift Manager-In Room Dining assists the Manager In Room Dining in overseeing the day-to-day management of the In Room Dining Operation.
Position Responsibilities
- Ensures that service is carried out in accordance with established policy
- Responsible for controlling labor and other operating costs
- Trains and evaluates all In Room Dining personnel and enforces food and beverage policies and procedures
- Facilitates communication between various hotel, casino Departments and the In-Room Dining and Amenity Department to ensure courteous and prompt service
- Ensures sanitation compliance throughout In Room Dining
- Handles customer complaints
- Responsible for compliance with all regulatory requirements within area of responsibility
- Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility
- Shift assignments may be irregular, and will cover days, nights, weekends and holidays
- Adheres to federal, state and local laws and regulations
- All other duties as assigned
- The ability to handle all types of guest related situations
Essential Functions
- The ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, lift, reach, pull, push, kneel, squat and grasp
- Must be able to walk and stand for entire shift
- The ability to work in a high-pressure environment
- Must have ability to sit and work from a computer for extended periods
- Exposure to casino related environmental factors, including but not limited to, secondhand smoke, excessive noise and stress related to servicing customers in a fast paced environment.
- Must be able lift/push/pull up to 25 lbs
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED with three years’ supervisory experience in Room Service and/or full-service restaurants is preferred
- The ability to effectively communicate in English

- Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $46,500-$60,500 annually. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including experience and expertise and may vary from the amount listed above.
