Overview

HCLTech is seeking an experienced UX Design Consultant to create intuitive, engaging, and user-centered digital experiences across web and mobile platforms. The ideal candidate will combine strong UX design expertise with user research capabilities to transform business requirements into seamless and impactful customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Design user-centered experiences for web and mobile applications that align with business goals and customer needs.
• Conduct user research activities, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and stakeholder workshops.
• Create and maintain user personas, journey maps, user flows, information architecture, and interaction models.
• Develop wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts effectively.
• Analyze research findings and usability test results to identify improvement opportunities and drive design decisions.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.
• Advocate for UX best practices and ensure consistency across digital products.
• Support design implementation by partnering with engineering teams and validating final user experiences.
• Utilize analytics and user feedback to continuously optimize product usability and customer satisfaction.

Required Experience

• 8+ years of UX Design and User Research experience.
• Demonstrated experience designing enterprise-grade web and mobile applications.
• Proven ability to facilitate and conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability studies.
• Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end UX design process and delivered products.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within Education Technology (EdTech), Digital Learning, or Enterprise SaaS platforms.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Understanding of front-end technologies and design handoff best practices.
• Experience designing scalable design systems and component libraries.
