Job Title: Executive Chef

Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and visionary Executive Chef to lead the culinary team at an upscale Italian restaurant in Westfield, NJ. The ideal candidate has a deep passion for Italian cuisine, strong leadership skills, and a track record of delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, design, and execute innovative Italian menus that reflect high-quality, seasonal ingredients.
Lead, mentor, and manage kitchen staff, including sous chefs, line cooks, and prep teams.
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency in all food preparation.
Manage food cost, labor cost, and inventory while maintaining profitability.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Collaborate with management to develop special events, catering, and seasonal menu offerings.
Maintain high standards of presentation, taste, and overall guest experience.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers for the best quality ingredients.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in Italian or upscale dining establishments.
Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
Strong knowledge of food costing, inventory management, and kitchen operations.
Passion for creating high-quality, authentic Italian cuisine with attention to presentation.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.
