MARINE SERVICE TECHNICIAN

By joining our service team you'll enjoy a Monday thru Friday, 7:00 am-4:00 pm. schedule and Great Work Environment. There are NO SEASONAL Layoffs. (Overtime available and encouraged during busy season) We are a busy multi line dealership with all manufactures represented schooling available.

Schrader Yacht Sales Inc. in Point Pleasant, NJ is looking for a Marine Mechanic/Service Technician full time position. Must be a team player with strong organizational skills to come on board. Applicant will have a clean drivers license. Yamaha and Mercury Outboard and Mercruiser sterndrive experience required. Applicant Should Be Able to Complete The Following;

• Service, maintain, winterize, and perform warranty work on boats and engines.
• Must be able to communicate equipment issues, a plan of action and work completed to customers.
• Inspect and test machinery, equipment, and parts to identify defects.
• Troubleshoot concerns, diagnose problems, and coordinate repairs.
• Work on Outboard and I/O engines.
• Keep records of what was done, parts used and any tests that were completed.
• Have a professional appearance and attitude with integrity and reliability.
• Organized with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Keep a clean and safe working area
• Be a problem solver and be willing to tackle anything- be able to work independently and efficiently as well as work well with others.
